The Dragons Lair Tattoo (HK) is ran by U.K artist Jonny D who is a former apprentice of old school master and Hong Kong tattooing legend Jimmy Ho, who took him under his wing as his student when John first came to Hong Kong to be tattooed by Jimmy.

John was Jimmy`s apprentice for 4 years drawing and studying traditional Chinese and old school tattoo art, as well as closely watching his teacher tattoo many people from around the world.

Once the apprenticeship was over , John carried on working at Jimmy`s as a tattoo artist as well as travelling back and forth to the U.K to tattoo and to attend seminars by top artists in order to learn as much as possible.
