After Piercing Solution

Use Saline solution 2 times a day

Wash your hand, drop a small amount onto a cotton bud, shake off the excess and dab around the piercing site. Applying Saline solution might soften the crust around the piercing sites and it might ready to fall off. Remove any crusting carefully without spinning your jewellery. DO NOT rotate the jewellery while cleaning.

What is the stages of healing?

Why use longer stem jewellery for my piercing?

Here is an approximate time line for your reference:

Week 1 - Swelling and redness. It is totally normal. Keep it clean!!

Week 2-4 - Dry skin and crust. Don't pick them off by force and no touchy !

Week 5 - Matured. Redness should be nearly gone. Keep cleaning the piercing.

Week 6-8 - Downsize time! Come say hi and let's see if you need to change your jewellery!

A longer stem jewellery is used for a new piercing which allow room for swelling. Once swelling, redness and pain are all gone, it is time to come back for downsizing to a more fitted jewellery.
